Dr. Sketchy’s 413
Dr. Sketchy’s 413 was an official branch of the world famous Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School, the international alternative life-drawing movement born out of Brooklyn that traded stuffy studios for cocktails, burlesque, and pin-up glamour. We planned and hosted live costumed art drawing events with live models, bringing that same boozy, playful energy to the 413 area code. Local artists came out to sketch models in elaborate themed costumes, all in a room that felt more like a party than a classroom.

Isolation Connection

Asking how we engaged in a meaningful way and how we keep making erotic art within covid restrictions. The works were published in various magazines, written about, shown in a gallery in NYC and continue to be some of Bella’s favorite work.
